Our client takes pride in delivering sustainable alternatives to landfill waste to help reduce a business’ carbon footprint and is looking for a Credit Controller to work from their Wirral offices. They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Credit Controller who provides great customer service to join their recently expanded team.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Experience working within Credit Control and contacting customers via phone, email and post
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Computer literacy in application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to pick up bespoke systems
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure
• Customer focused/drive to deliver improved customer satisfaction
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent numeracy skills
Key responsibilities Include:
• To control specific, high volume, sections of accounts within the sales ledger as part of a team
• To build relationships with customers and ensure the highest level of service is delivered and maintained and that accounts are kept within Credit Terms
• To facilitate a high level of cashflow and minimize levels of overdue debt in line with set targets and Terms
• To work with all internal departments in resolving customer discrepancies in a timely manner
• To assist in managing cash allocation correctly as per customer payment advise and instructions
• Maintain accurate and up to date customer details
• To facilitate customer information requests as demanded by customer including statements and document copies
• To facilitate specific customer account database requests
• To ensure the customer’s account is reconciled correctly
• In addition to these functions, the employee is required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business
