Are you an experienced Accounts Manager looking to join an expanding firm. Our client is looking for an honest, reliable, and dependable individual to join their specialised Accountancy and Tax team.
Whilst managing your team and your own workload. Our client is looking for an analytical thinker with the ability to use logic and reason to identify complex problems and review information to implement solutions.
Key responsibilities but not exclusive to
- Managing a team of accountants
- Assigning accounting tasks to the team
- Provide support and training to the team
- Provide support and advice to clients
- Use of accounting software
- Setting monthly targets, based upon work in and deadlines due
- Resolving client queries where possible
To be successful you must have
- ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice at management level
- Be a good communicator and able to work as part of a team
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Confident in all areas of accountancy and taxation
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of accountancy software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Sage/Xero
